Layla the active lovebug needs a place to call home! in New Hamburg, New York

Are you looking for a gorgeous active four legged friend that LOVES to play ball, go for runs, but can also just hang out on the couch??
Look no further! Layla is your girl!
Layla is a cutie! She was found about a month ago running the streets of Newburgh. A nice person stopped and picked this girl up, looked for an owner and when one could not be found, surrendered her to our rescue so she would have a chance of finding her forever home.
This pup is such a sweetheart! Layla is the perfect medium sized dog at right about 45lbs full grown! She is about 8-9 months old and a pure bred mutt! Maybe a little Pitty in there? Some shepherd? Who knows! One thing we know for sure is that she is a total love!
She is a super active girl that would be a great companion for kids or other pups, or BOTH! A fenced in yard is not a must, but would be a HUGE plus! This girl needs a place where she can run or with an active family that will let her come along for runs, playtime at the park, hikes, and tennis ball time!
Layla gets along great with other playful pups and seems to make friends quicker with dogs her own size (the little ones don't always like her play style!)
She need to go to a home WITHOUT cats.
Layla enjoys going for long walks but would benefit from a few extra training courses when it comes to not pulling on the leash. She does know basic commands and will demonstrate her famous "give paw" trick for ANY size treat :)
Her face is just too cute and she really is very gentle despite her muscly build.
Layla is fully vetted! She is up to date with all vaccines, flea/tick free, dewormed, and has been spayed!
All she needs now is a place to call home.
