"1964 Ford Fairlane 500"Thunder Bolt Inspired Being offered for the first time on ebay & the only time I might add - is this professionally & purposely built tribute to one of Fords drag racing legendary "Thunder Bolts" of the early 60s.Only 100 Thunder Bolts were built & all were 2dr sedans - where as this Fairlane 500 is a 2dr hardtop & not to be mistaken as anything more then an extremely nice & well built tribute inspired by the original 100 T-Bolts. Absolutely "rust free" body was the foundation for this transformation purchased out of California. Full blown rotisserie restoration with laser straight body panels. Gorgeous Raven Black paint, all the stainless polished to a very high shine. Fiberglass "tear drop" hood & fiberglass front / rear bumpers.The Red interior is completely "brand new" & looks fantastic - features radio delete plate with factory "lock-out reverse 4-speed shifter"Power supplied by a "real" 427 sider-oil with cross-bolt mains. Professionally rebuilt with all forged internals. Compression is "11.0.1" respectfully. Solid lifter flat tappet cam. Aluminum dual quad intake manifold with two 600 cfm Holley carburetors. Naturally is has the 5" ram-air tubes piped into what used to be the high-beam headlights. "Runs Great - Sounds Awesome - Starts Instantly"Transmission is a period correct Borq Warner T-10 side loader that was also professionally built, as was the factory lock-out reverse shifter. Center-Force clutch setup bits hard & transmission shifts like butter.Rear end is a period correct Ford 9" filled with 4.30 gear in a Detroit Locker posi unit. Correct T-Bolt ladder bar suspension.
